If you have been dabbling in the word of wellness you have likely heard about the power of affirmations already….. It’s true!
Several studies have been able to confirm just how powerful affirmations are for our physical, mental and emotional health among other things.
When I first started using affirmations the ones I used were around healing modalities and manifestation.
At the time I was also studying Reiki which has a lot to do with healing on a spiritual level.
Whether you get into the woo or not I promise you may find using affirmations to be really helpful on your journey to health and wellness.
Affirmations are like the key to the car’s engine.
We are giving a command to the car to start.
I like to think of affirmations as my conscious mind giving a command to my unconscious mind to start thinking and behaving a certain way….. to my benefit.

When we affirm something we are telling our minds what to think, how to behave and ultimately….. what to do.
Practice these as much as you like and even better, put your own spin on them. Come up with your own affirmations to use every day that are most relevant to you.
Here’s my pro tip: Say your favorite affirmations either when you first wake up or go to bed. This is the time when our subconscious minds are the most open to receive.
You can even record your favorite affirmations using a voice note and play them.
